defining and maintaining the development environment and supporting more junior team members;
developing innovative and effective ecommerce applications in liaison with the Marketing team, the Senior Web Developer and the IT Director;
following company standards in terms of documentation, testing and development methodologies.

Experience:

The ideal candidate will:

have 3 to 5 years application design and development experience, using ASP and the Microsoft DNA architecture (Distributed Net Applications);
understand Software design, relational database design fundamentals and modelling (including normalisation) and have SQL programming experience, ideally using SQLServer;
have a minimum of 2 years experience in developing ecommerce applications.

A perfect candidate will also:

have prior experience designing and developing applications using UML.
Education:

Grade 12 minimum, ideally also holding a relevant diploma or other qualification.
