Helpdesk / Customer Service Team Leader

 

Responsibilities
The successful applicant will:

- Assist the current Manager to lead, manage and mentor a small team of Helpdesk representatives
- Respond to customer enquiries and software related issues
- Work closely with other members in the management, marketing, sales and development teams
- Proactively follow and execute customer support procedures and requirements
- Understand the Aconex system and gather input from customers into the product
- Provide input into customer service strategy and direction
- Develop and implement process improvements
- Proficiently use administrative and relationship management tools to record and manage day to day activities and report to management

Skills

The successful candidate must have proven skills in the following areas:

- Excellent phone manner
- Good problem solving and investigative skills with demonstrated experience
- Be a good listener, able to identify and prioritize key issues during a conversation
- Possess excellent interpersonal and relationship skills including the ability to relate well to a diverse range of people in a diverse range of situations
- Be well organized, disciplined and self managed
- Have an enthusiastic, positive and fun outlook
- Be a fast learner, open to learning new skills with a "can do" attitude
- Excellent command of the English language and the ability to speak Arabic would also be considered an advantage
- Good time management and prioritization skills
- Internet savvy, good computer skills and open to learning new applications
- At least 2 years experience as a Helpdesk Team Leader
- A background in the construction industry or construction experience would be of benefit however is not required.
