IT Procurement Specialist

 
JOB REQUIREMENT

- Specialized knowledge
- Highly specialized skills, knowledge or techniques requiring some problem recognition, solution development and action step formulation within structured and/or defined judgment parameters a defined by the job.
- Academic knowledge
- Skills typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in Procurement/Contracts and Materials related subject, Business Administration, or similar discipline and 4 years of experience in Procurement/ Subcontracts which includes experience in field services, engineering or construction and negotiations.
- In lieu of a degree, 6 years of equivalent experience in Procurement/Subcontracts Administration and Field Procurement/Subcontracts Coordination is also acceptable.
- High degree of computer literacy with experience in using spreadsheets, data input and SAP. In particular the job holder should be conversant with using Purchase To Pay (PTP) elements of SAP.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

The job holder will interact with a wide range of people internal and external to the Company and therefore requires strong influencing and interpersonal skills to deliver targeted improvements in supply and costs.

The job holder should have the ability to work under a pressure and must be able to communicate well, have the ability to work well with others and provide support and assistance to cover peak work load periods while also having a flexible approach to duties especially during busy periods and to provide role overlap.
